Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization
dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of
patient care, research, and education
The Molecular Genetics laboratory offers molecular diagnostic testing for
inherited disorders. You will supervise on a daily basis the operations of the
technical employees in the Laboratory and assist in the development of new
diagnostic tests. Perform mutation analysis using direct DNA sequencing and
other mutation detection techniques.
Required:
• BS/BA in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Science, Biology, Chemistry or
Molecular Diagnostics.
• At least 7 years experience as follows: 2 + years experience in the DMG Lab as
a Technologist II or 5+ years in Molecular Biology or Genetics Laboratory or
equivalent experience.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License and the National
Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel.
• Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills.
Hours: 9:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday thru Friday
